Spring

Despite the cold, Spring is definitely here in Seattle. The sun is out more, the flowers are in bloom, the ducks are out with their babies, and we're having fun! Owen continues to amaze us with his growing vocabulary, great sense of humor, and passion for life. He's popped three teeth out in the past few weeks, with several more on the way, but still manages to laugh and play through the pain. One of Owen's favorite new hobbies is feeding himself, a cute but messy development in the Mudgett household. He is still obsessed with books, and I think Dan can recite every single one in his sleep (and sometimes does!). Owen is getting braver and braver with his walking, only crawling to get to something to pull up on, but the increased confidence is leading to more bonks. He's not slowing down though! I see fun times in the next few months as the temperature rises, the parks get busy, and the wading pools open for the summer. And how lucky are we to both be at home with Owen to experience it all?!?
